After our group hunt in February, I have worked out some multiple buffalo hunts in Burkina Faso that may be of some interest to hunters that are looking for a value and want multiple buff experience. No these are not Cape buff, but the prices are not that of Cape buff either.

Prices must be paid in Euros. For those that often complain about that here, I am going to convert all of these prices at today’s exchange rate of 1:1.09. That doesn’t mean a lot because it matters about the exchange rate on the day you wire money, exchange dollars, etc., but right now the US dollar is very strong against the Euro, and it is a great time to take advantage of this.

January-April dates available. I would suggest Jan-end of February just to avoid high heat.

Here are the packages.

They all include transport to hunting area, food, lodging, trophy prep, guides/trackers/drivers, laundry service.

Exclude: 1 Gun permit and hunting license €395 ($430.55)- transport and shipping of trophies- tips (much less expected there than in most African nations- I think we had about $600ish total for everything/person)- hotel before or after hunt as needed per flight schedule and food there (I spent about $70/night including dinner, breakfast and beers).

7-day 2 buffalo hunt – including trophy fees
€11,500 ($12,535) 2x1 option ( if I had a friend who wanted to go, I would recommend this)
€11,950 ($13,025.50) 1x1 option

7-day 2 buffalo + 1 western roan- including trophy fees
€14,950 ($16,295.50) 2x1 option (if I had a friend wanted to go, I would recommend this)
€ 15,400 ($16,786) 1x1 option

7-day 3 buffalo hunt – including trophy fees
€19,650 ($21,418,50) 1x1 (they obviously don’t want o sell many of these. My opinion is a
person would be better buying 2 back to back 7-day/2 buff hunts)

Burkina Faso Hunt Report

As I have said and you can read in the report, this is not the hunt for a first time African hunter, or anyone who cannot be flexible and go with the flow so to speak. The hunting is fantastic and the prices are right. Camp and food are OK. Let me know if you are interested and I am happy to have a detailed phone conversation concerning the trips.

Tim is the 2x1 price of 12,535 the per person 2x1 - 2 buffalo each? Or per person 1 buffalo each?

Will- they have been terribly hard to work with on adding species to packages for whatever reason. I know I can get that for €14,800 1x1, but I will ask specifically if I can get a better price.

I would be interested as well in adding some of the other species on a buffxroan or 2x buff hunt.

€14,350 was the best I could do. They aren't too flexible, and don't want to make it easy (or affordable) for hunters to add the other species.
