This is a bit last minute, but I had a guy driving in for a Red Stag and Fallow Deer hunt who got a bit of bad news just before he left. He had to cancel so, I have this weekend open. I will do an exotic hunt for Stag or Fallow or a Youth Whitetail hunt.

Texas Parks and Wildlife now has an extended youth season for Whitetail. Any kid 16 or younger can hunt Whitetail bucks, provided they have a tag and have not killed a deer in Hardeman Co.

I have seen a few old Whitetail's who are mature 8 point deer. One of these guys is 6.5 years old, some are in the 4.5-5.5 year old range.

This weekend, I'll do a "Management Buck" hunt for one of these 8's or some 9's (depending on age, etc.) for $1500 for a father and son/daughter hunt. Yes, we have had quite a few girls shoot deer here.

In addition to the Whitetail, there are Red Stag, Fallow Deer & Aoudad to hunt as well. Season is open on all exotics so the father or child can hunt exotics for the trophy fee.

Whitetail Management hunt - $1500 (Normal cost $2500)
Trophy fees for additional animals:
Fallow $1850
Red Stag $2000-$2500 depending on the Stag.
Aoudad $2750

Need TX hunting license.
Bring your food and cook in the kitchen
Accommodations provided on the ranch
Ranch is in Hardeman Co, between Quanah and Childress, TX (NW Texas).

Actually, I'll do an exotic hunt instead of the Whitetail hunt. First come first serve!

No day rate, just trophy fees. The trophy fees are reduced on the Stag. I have a few very good "Management" Stags for $2000, and the trophy Stags are $2500.

With the cost of of ground beef at $5/lb, a big load of Stag meat could be pretty enticing! The meat is about as good as it gets with any exotic.

Hell of a deal!

Just changed the date to anytime now through Jan 20 for the Youth Whitetail.

I can still do a trophy exotic hunt anytime till the antlers fall off. I have found its hard to sell trophy hunts after they shed their antlers.

Aoudad, we can hunt until the grass greens up in the canyons. Just got rain, so, I suspect that will be the end of Feb or so.
