One of our Illinois outfitters has 3 unfilled archery openings for Oct. 28 - Nov. 2, 2011. They have been seeing some nice bucks and one exceptional drop-tine buck. See pics below.

The hunt is on 1000+ contiguous acres in Fulton / Schuyler Counties. No one will have hunted the property this year prior to this hunt. Only 9 hunters hunt this property each year. Stands will be hung in proven locations.

Included are: meals, lodging, guide assistance, field dressing and caping.

Deer permits are still available - cost is $410 plus $63 for license and habitat stamp.

6 Day Hunt is only $2400 per hunter!

Just got some more recent trail cam pix from the Illinois hunt. The big drop tine was out and about before dark. If you look at the temps on the pix, you will see that it has been very warm. Once cooler temps and the rut kicks in, daylight movement should pick up.

This is a sweet deal for $2400 - private land that isn't over-hunted, meals, lodging, pre-scouted, stands hung and the bucks are obviously there.

2010 was the first year that the family guided on the farm. They had 5 archery hunters that took 3 bucks. There was also one buck killed in gun season by one of the guides so 4 bucks were taken off it last year.
