Yea, if one nails both, quite a deal! Nice looking camp too Aubrey.

What if the "14 footer" goes into hiding, what is the typical size of a Limpopo croc? How do you usually hunt them now thru March - bait, spot/stalk, both?

2% Govt levy on the total cost of the hunt. day rates and trophy fees
The tax, I keep seeing "2%" in the ads here, are you not charging the new/extra 2% levy on all trophy fees for the Zimbabwe Tourism Authorities (ZTA), in addition to the 2% that goes to National Parks (effective total of 4% on trophy fees, and 2% on day rates)? Maybe this somehow does not apply, or you are eating this? Peanuts here perhaps, but I saw this on your website too and on an ele more like walnuts! Just curious, thanks Aubrey!

Bill,

As I remember that stretch of the Limpopo has an excellent croc population and although a bit further up the river, I've caught many of them in the 12 foot + range......

I get an idea Aubs posted a pic somewhere of the river beside his camp and it was thick with 'em. I'm hoping to get up to Aubrey's camp sometime this year and the pics he posted are certainly more than enough to make me pack my croc fishing gear when I do. fishing

Bill no problem, from my understanding its 2% total(2% each for trophy and day rates) i agree with peanuts to walnuts - but then again at $42 000 i ensure that the elephant hunted are 60 plus pounds. croc realistic 12 plus, there are hobbos of them
