I just had three spots open up for this winter
November 28-December 3
January 7-12
January 20-25
Here is what you all have been waiting for. A prime-time hunt at the best time to hunt lynx.
.

1 on 1 hunts $8500 USD plus license, tags, WCF and 5% federal sales tax.

Two on one hunts $5750.00 USD for each hunter plus license, tags WCF and 5%
federal sales tax.
Each hunt has six days of hunting, all meals, lodging and airport transfer from Williams Lake is included.

License $180, tag $42 and WCF of $250 is extra.

A $2000 USD bank transfer each hunter deposit is required to hold your dates.
Balance, including license tags and WCF will be paid 30 prior to your hunt starting

If you want to add a cougar that is possible. We will only concentrate on hunting cougar after the lynx are taken or if a very good opportunity presents itself.
Trophy fee on a cougar is $7500 usd plus tax, must be paid for prior to leaving Skinner Creek.

Driving it is 9 hours from the US border
Flying I will pick you up in Williams Lake. You will fly first into Vancouver
Pacific Coastal Air and Central Mtn air are the two companies that fly into Williams Lake.
Allow enough time between transfer in Vancouver as both airlines fly out of the South Terminal in Vancouver which requires a taking a shuttle.

License $189
Lynx Tag 42.00
Cougar tag $241.00
Wildlife Conservation fee $250

Looking forward to hearing from you.

So $16000 for a lynx/cougar hunt? I’ve always wanted to hunt with you Doug and wish you the best, but am afraid this has gotten out of my range. Best of luck…

What's worse is that $16,000USD is the equivalent of over $22,000CAD at today's exchange rate. Profit margins are through the roof for a Canadian operation. That said, you are free to charge what you want and have others pay you if they want it.

Book this hunt knowing you will get your lynx and possibly a cougar. The best dogs I’ve ere seen. The food is incredible. I have hunted with Doug and will go back with my son for black bears when he is old enough. No complaints about my hunt.

Christen and I hunted spring bears with Doug and his dogs this year.We both got bears, his area is remote and idea country for cat hunting too. Look @ his past posts over the years on success. Dogs are the best I've ever hunted with and Doug is very compassionate with his hounds. There are only 2 places left to hunt lynx with decent success, BC and Alaska. Price is based on knowledge and experience and it cost a lot to operate in BC. Cougars in BC are bigger on average and older than the states.I shot my biggest mt.lion in BC 2 years ago after 10 hunts in 5 western states. Outfitters in US want 1st cat in tree dead to keep their percentage high and competition is high against the regular guy and his hounds. I started on guided hound hunts for bears and lions in the mid 90's and by far BC is the best. Doug Mcmann of Skinner Creek Outfitters is one of the best !

Those that have done the lynx hunt…do you feel a 2x1 would allow a high degree of success for both hunters? Thanks

My friend and I did a 2x1 with Doug a few years ago and we were done by the end of the 3rd day.

Rakman,

When I hunted with Doug I'm confident we could have taken a lynx every day. They are like bugs there.
