Every day spent for hunting is the best possible way of spending your time. I know that is a matter of my personal opinion but I stand behind it. Even so, there are two hunts that have a special place in my heart. First one is the wolf hunt. I will write about this with another occasion. The second one is the red stag hunt with horses during the rut. If I had to describe this hunt in few words, I will say only: PURE ADVENTURE!
Unfortunately, the emotions that I feel thinking about this hunt can not be transcribe, even in a novel. All I can do is just a description of the hunt, hoping

that your imagination will do the rest.

So, imagine a place away from civilization, away from human houses or human presence in the Carpathian mountains. Just in the middle of....NOWHERE. Just you, another 3, 4 hunters like you, a tent, a fire, and the horses. Once in a while, your stories are interrupted by a old stag roaring.

Tomorrow morning the adventure will begin!

Well, after this nice introduction here are some details regarding the hunt

The hunt take place in a beautiful mountain area that surrounds Colibita lake in Bistrita Nasaud county(Nord part of Romania).
We recommend 5 hunting days and one day relax after the hunt. Main base is on the top of the mountain in a nice cabin, but if you preffer we can arrange accommodation in a 4 star luxury hotel on the bottom of the mountain on the edge of the lake and every morning we go with 4 wheel drive cars up to the cabin from where we start hutning with horses.
We need minimum 2 hunters and maximum 6 to do the hunt. Best time is between 20 and 26 September.
Price for the hunt is 4000 euro including a stag regardless of size 2500 euro refund if the hunter did not get his stag.
