While we have a very busy season ongoing we do have some shorter open dates and available quota so this is my offer to anyone wanting to hunt Zim in 2018. I have Mike Blignaut, , Lou Hallamore all available with sporadic open dates through the season. I am offering dates with these very qualified pros to flexible hunters not needing a full 14-21 day hunt for $750 a day and the hunter can take ANY game except lion we have on quota which as of now is pretty much everything including leopards. There are no inflated trophy fees or BS like that the prices posted on my web site TheSafariConnection.com remain unchanged and will be the price charged. I am leaving to do meet and greet, eco tours and client transfers on June 21st for almost 2 months so don't delay it will be much easier to organize while I am in the USA.. "Gwaii Forrest" as in the formally private owned (stolen) Gwayi Valley conservancies? I ask because I am not familiar with your area on offer.

The Gwaii forest encompasses nearly the entire east side of Hwange National Park south of the Metetsi Units and some private farms one known for the infamous Cecil hunt but we are using the Zim Forestry areas south of the park entrance for big exportable ele, Sable and other plains game seen in abundance there that we don't have along the lake. We use the Malindi camp which is located on the south east corner of Hwange far from any seized or confiscated farms and while I will admit I have no knowledge of these areas prior to Independence I do know that since the issue over the first couple of lion tags issued was overcome that no one has questioned legitimacy of ownership unlike so many areas including the Save now under heavy use by American hunters and Zim PH's. I could be mistaken but I was under the impression that most seized farms were in the hands of individuals NOT Parks or Forestry. ANY Rhodesians out there with knowledge of this please sound off I would like to know the history of these areas..SS

AT Brain Van Blerks request he is no longer an available PH and TheSafariConnection does not recommend him as PH for any hunting or as a Zim PH. Sorry if this caused any confusion.

Just focus on the restoration of Chete and the rest will fall into place.

If someone gets Chete back to its original state when Roy Vincent had it would be great.

It is one of the best hunting areas I have hunted, and we hunted it all the years Roy had it.
