Safari Daily Rates:

A) Roan + two antelope - 6 hunting days 1x1 = 7,700 Euros, 2x1 = 5,600 Euros.
Non hunters 1,800 Euros

B) Buffalo + two antelope - 6 hunting days 1x1 = 8,400 Euros, 2x1 = 6,300 Euros.
Non hunters 1,800 Euros

C) Full bag safari including buffalo, roan and all other game - 9 Hunting days 1x1 = 9,800 Euros, 2x1 = 8,500 Euros. Non hunters 2,350 Euros

On 2x1 safaris both hunters can take a full bag each.

Daily rates include:
• Meet and assistance at Cotonou International Airport + transfer to hotel
• Transfer to the camp by road
• All the organisation of the hunt with licensed Professional Hunter and team

• Preparation of trophies (see cost below)
• Shipping of trophies to States (cost of shipping trophies to a major city in the USA is approximately 1700 euros for one buffalo, roan and two antelope).
• Liquor bill
• Insurance for civil responsibility and hunting (in France hunters are required to carry hunting insurance in case of accidents).
• Tips and gratuities

Terms of business:
• 50% deposit of daily rate to confirm booking of your hunt, balance 60 days before the hunt date.

Getting there:
Fly in to Cotonou from Paris where you will be met at the airport, clear immigration and obtain your gun permits. Clients will be taken to a local hotel where they will spend the night (aprx 150 Euros/night). The following day you will be driven to camp and your safari will start the following day. You will depart camp the day after your hunt ends and will be driven back to Cotonou in time to catch your return flight to Paris.

Camp is basic but clean and sufficient. Food is excellent.

Hunting Season: The hunting season runs from 15th December to the 15th of May. The temperature rises as the season progresses. February is a very nice time to go.

Cost of dip, packing, all paperwork and crating of trophies - roughly 1000 euros on a full bag safari.
Cost of shipping to France 700 euros, the shipping agent reckons it will cost another 1000 euros to a major US city.

The experienced French operator has operated in Benin for several years and your PH will speak fair english. Chance of Buffalo and Roan is virtually 100%.
