As a PH I was recently asked by another to explore a Sable hunt in the Kafue and got offers from a number of good operators but the best deal was Sichifulo south of the Kafue National Park for September. Great area and time for Sable. The operator Mulimo Safaris is well renowned, the camp and accommodation is first class. We are offering this deal for Sable/Plains game with upgraded options to include Buffalo and Roan. It may be such that two hunters could split an upgraded safari but this will require further negotiation with the operator.

!0 Days = $12,700 inclusive of concession fees.

Licencing/Rifle permits = $750

Observers = $200 a day

Dip & Pack = $1,500

Trophy fees


Transfers are by car or charter. Vehicle transfers would be $500 each way and a comfortable 8-hour drive to camp.

I spent the night at Abie’s home one night. We were going to Flats for a big Lechwe. While there he handed me album after album after album of his time hunting Schifulu. I could not believe the quality that consistently came out of there.

Good luck with the package, it’s a dandy.

Zambian Professional hunting is less without Abie. To know him was to love him. Warts and all.
