I've just had two of my best clients return from a very interesting Lord Derby hunt in Cameroon.

They reported lots of game and particularly the bigger animals like Lord Derby eland, West African Savannah buffalo, Sing-Sing waterbuck, roan and Central kob.

The hunt is not too physical or you can make it as physical as you want. My guys reported a couple of long walks but also seeing lots of game near the vehicle with the eland being very calm.

My guys hunted 2x1 taking all the GROUP A animals. They were looking for either huge eland or a very old ones. They found just that with one big eland and one super old one. In the process they said they turned down 7-8 other mature bulls. My guys had hunted Cameroon before so were not too interested in the smaller species but they said they were all there.

The area is 3 hours by road NE of Ngaoundere and is huge by Cameroon standards at 325,000 acres with the Vina river keeping the area well watered.

There is one eland available last 2 weeks of March '23 at a 5,000 Euro discount.
