TROPHY WHITETAIL HUNTING PACKAGE
(POSSIBLE MULE DEER ALSO!)

We have recently acquired a great new ranch that is in the heart of big whitetail country. This great 14,000+ acre ranch is located in Childress County, Texas and is intersected by the Prairie Dog Town Fork of the Red River. This area is well recognized for producing great deer on a regular basis.

Our hunt package features the opportunity to harvest a great whitetail buck, plus if you encounter one of our great mule deer bucks and cannot resist, then you can harvest BOTH by paying a separate trophy fee for the second buck. Here are the hunt programs and package options:

A. We intend to sell up to six (6) Trophy Whitetail Deer Hunts at a fee of $3000.00 per hunter for a 5 day hunt (*plus guide fee of $150.00 per day for a 1 on 1 guided hunt and you will be charged the guide fee for actual days hunting only*). Each package will entitle a hunter to the following:
• A “Trophy Whitetail Buck” (described as a mature buck of the hunter’s choice that is at least 4 ½ years of age).
• There are some Trophy Mule Deer Bucks on the ranch. These will be available if encountered at a cost of $4,000.00 (as opposed to the $3,000.00 for the whitetail hunt).
• Both a Trophy Whitetail Buck and a Trophy Mule Deer Buck can be harvested for a package price of $6,500.00.
• Each package will feature five full days of hunting with no more than 3 to 4 hunters in camp per hunt.
• The dates for the two hunting packages run concurrent with the Texas Mule Deer Season which begins Saturday, November 17th and extends through Sunday, December 2nd, 2012. Coincidentally, this period should be at the peak of the whitetail rut.
• The first hunt will commence on Saturday, November 17th and run through Wednesday, November 21st – both days inclusive;
• The second hunt will commence on Saturday, November 24th and run through Wednesday, November 28th – both days inclusive.
• Lodging is included in a first class, on site facility.
• Food / meals are not included, but a great kitchen is on site at the lodge for your convenience.
• Hunts will be guided 1 on 1. (NOTE: Guide fees are not included in the hunt cost and are charged at a rate of $150.00 per day and charged for actual days hunting only*).
• Blinds and feeders are currently in place and operating along with game cameras.
• Whitetail does will be available and included at no additional charge if the doe population needs reducing at the time of the hunt.
• Hogs will be included as encountered at no additional charge.

Where else can you hunt both a trophy class whitetail and possibly a great mule deer on the same ranch and at the same time? How is the hunt conducted - stands. elevated shooting houses, spot and stalk, or driving around in a truck?

This is a great part of the state to hunt.

Will the ranch be hunted at all before these hunt dates take place?

The WT will be mostly out of very nice elevated blinds with feeders, and some will be spot and stalk. If we are going for Mule deer, it will be mostly from a high rack in the truck combined with spot and stalk. We only have one trophy hunter this week. We will also have management hunts available if anyone is interested.
