SPECIAL BANGWEULU CUISINE MOPANE WORMS. YUMMY!

THE ABOVE ANIMALS WERE TAKEN IN 3 DAYS

Johnny duPlooy/Muchinga Adventure is offering a sitatunga only or a multi species hunt in the Bangweulu Swamp.

If you book late season on the dark period of the moon Johnny is very confident of success. This last hunt he saw three shooters in one day and ended up taking the large sitatunga pictured.

The Bangweulu is a very special place and a must see if you are interested in specialized trophies in a unique environment. I've hunted the Bangweulu twice myself and it is just fascinating.

Hunts are morning and evening from established blinds. Shots can be long so some preparation with your rifle is very important.

Africa Parks is managing the Bangweulu and they've done a good job now allowing multi species hunt to include a buffalo. Africa Parks also provide the camp and staff.

PRICING:

1X1 5 days $10,500
Extra days $1,950 each

TROPHY FEES:

Sitatunga $7,500
Black lechwe $6,500

Bushpig $1,250
Common duiker $750

EXTRAS:

IF YOU WANT ALL OR MOST OF WHAT'S AVAILABLE YOU MIGHT WANT TO ADD A COUPLE OF DAYs BUT 5 DAYS IS PLENTY FOR THE SITATUNGA.

Call for a unique experience.

This hunt in Bangwuela is a fantastic experience as I reported on my hunt in September. The only comments I would make would be to fly in rather than drive like I did. The buffalo are very flighty on an open plain. I didn't like shooting buffalo at what I considered long range but I got one. 5 days is certainly plenty for just the Sitatunga but the Lechwe and Tssebbe are a full day's drive away on the other side of the swamp. You cannot shoot all species from one camp. We saw a lot of Hyaena at the second camp and I wished I had bought a License for one. You have to buy all the licences in advance but they are refundable. I hunted with Andrew Baldry at a very reasonable cost
