hi Guys I used to take overseas hunters out for bird shoots. I will not take anybody out to shoot if I cannot guarantee a VERY good day of shooting. I have been thinking lately whether or not I should once again offer my services. All bookings must be arranged via your PH. You are more than welcome to communicate direct with me for more info, but I will not give clients any prices, that is upto your PH. I am not a PH so your PH will have to accompany you on the shoot. Come guys convince me to share with you some of my TOP SECRET bird shooting spots! I have been shooting in quantities that would astound you and I feel selfish not sharing the great shooting I am currently having. Got to go load 300 rds for a afternoon dove shoot tomorrow if I can get away from work early enough!

That would be a nice add on to a plains game hunt in the Eastern Cape. Personally, I would look to this type of hunt as something to do once all the plains game I wanted were on the ground. I did this in the Limpopo one year. Had a great one day dove hunt. One problem I see is the availability of loaner shotguns for clients. If someone was going to commit in advance to a day of bird hunting they could bring their own shotgun, but I think most hunters would only want to do this when they were done with their big game hunting and thus wouldn't be bringing a shotgun with them. You or the PH would also have to arrange for the purchase of shotgun shells. I'm sure you know that one can't buy ammo in RSA unless they have a gun of that caliber/gauge on license. Thanks Labman, ammo is NEVER a problem, but loaner shotguns are, at least for me. Come shoot all your plainsgame guys and if you have some free time, thats where I come in.
