This price should be an "all inclusive".

There is always pressure to tip from the outset. From a directed request and a dollar figure (which has happened to me) to a gentle "hint" on the signing or airport pickup, tips are definitely expected.

$350'000.00. God bless you if you got that much extra cash laying around. I could be wrong but I don't think the line will be too long for this hunt. Might be better off advertising it on Wall Street amongst the hedge fund suits...

With all due respect, if you are not interested in any hunts on this forum, page through and pass on.

If you didn't notice it,this is not a hunt for an Imapal or Blesbuck.

i certainly don't have the money, but if one goes back a few years and thinks about the fact that the auctioned rhino hunt was expected to go for a lot more than the $350K that it did sell for

this isn't a bad deal for the right person

I'm betting for that kind of money they are not expecting a tip.

In my opinion if your wealthy enough to pay 350k, then giving a tip isn't going to hurt your pocket. The PH/ Outfitters may have a lot of profit in it but more likely not so huge amounts.

Anyway who really cares, good luck to hunter who takes it.

This could get interesting if the anti's hear about it. I wish you the best on the sale of this hunt.

Thanks Dave

The last thing I am worried or concerned about is some uneducated anti hearing about what we do or don't do.

Anti's are the least of my concerns.

Damn straight. And carping about tips for anything is low brow and low rent. Unbelievable.

Good luck on this. Not my cup of meat under modern day circumstances, but a black rhino? What a marvelous beast. I can only hope that efforts like yours might bring him back.

I've hunted with Bossie of LBG Safaris, granted not for a black rhino..... but you cannot find a more generous and caring PH. He puts his heart into everything he does. He works hard for his clients and works hard to deliver what is expected. In my dealing with him he has been honest and upfront and put real effort in to find me the best deals he could... And passed those on with minimal markup... He deserved everything I tipped him and if someone can afford this hunt, why would they not tip if happy with the service?

This is certainly not a common everyday deal but for the right person, here it is.

Bossie has survived a Tornado, land grab by that corrupt government, Working in the wilderness of Angola, facing down dangerous game and about everything else life can throw at someone! I really don't think a few anti hunters are going to worry him, or cranky posters on this siteWink
