Hunts are fully furnished 5 day hunts with two guides on each hunt.
Meals and lodging are included. $5000
success is 90% on our winter hunts.
Typical day of hunting starts early by cutting roads early and looking for tracks. We then use hounds to catch your cat.

Buffhunter63 Give us a call when your ready. If we plan ahead I do have some areas that are Less physically demanding then others but there is always a chance of a decent walk. Where you live so close we could do an on Call hunt and target it around the conditions being good in one of those areas.
Feel free to give me a call if you have any questions.
Thanks
JT

The on call hunt is just when you see tracks I would guess correct? Then call a hunter.
Most states now the hunter must be present when the dogs are released or tracking is started, is this correct for Colorado. I think you need to take a mountain lion identification test before getting tags also I believe.

An on Call hunt is not based on me finding tracks its more based on what current conditions are.
Often times during prime conditions we tag out our normally scheduled hunters early in the hunt and we have time to conduct another one. In these situations I will Call an on call guy to come in and hunt. This is a great option for guys with a flexible schedule. The perk of this option is you will only be brought out in perfect hunting conditions. The down fall is there is usually about 48 hours of notice for you to arrive. I put on call guys on a list in the order they book. When an open window becomes available I call the guy on the top of the list first. If you can’t make it at the time I call then I simply move onto the next person on the list until we get everyone hunted. I only book a small hand full of these hunts each year.
For guys with less flexible schedules we set planned dates ahead of time and we hunt hard those days no matter what Mother nature throws our way.
Hunters will always be present when the hounds are released and also the whole time we look for tracks.
This is state law in both Utah & Colorado where we hunt.
Colorado does require an identification test but Utah does not. It varies from week to week what area we will Be Hunting in. I live close to the UT/CO border and am licensed in both states. We constantly Jump back and fourth depending on what conditions are like in different places.
I personally guide all our lion hunts with the assistance of one full time helper. Two trucks are in the field cutting tracks on each hunt.
Thanks
JT
