Folks,
We are please to offer you the opportunity to hunt for a unique and exciting trophy – the Chinese Water Deer.
Almost extinct in it's homeland and rare world-wide, these amazing tusked deer are only available for legal, free-range hunting in in a small area to the north of London, England. Here, their numbers are increasing to the point where regular shooting is carried out for control purposes.
Hunting is conducted on grounds which are easy going and do not present a physical challenge to those in less than the peak of condition. We make use of elevated stands as well as foot stalking where the terrain permits. We also benefit from hunting in a small, intensively settled island which means that comfortable Hotel facilities are always within a short drive. With London only 45 minutes away by train, you always have the option to extend your stay and spend some days taking in the many attractions in our capital city.
Once you have secured your deer, we have additional grounds nearby that offer you the opportunity to make the most of your hunt, with chance for both the diminutive Muntjac (Barking Deer) or the impressive Fallow deer with their palmated antlers.
All hunting is free-range on wild beasts that originally escaped from the famed deer herds on the nearby Woburn estate & only last season, I guided a lucky hunter who took the second largest CWD ever scored in the UK - so the potential for an awesome trophy is very real.
You will be guided and hosted by Ian Farrington & references can be provided, or, inquiring on this site's European Big Game forum will put you in touch with many of our members who I have hunted with over the last twelve years.
We are looking forward to hunting with you and making this a very special trip. After all, with six wild deer species & numerous exotic trophies in the famed English country Estates - we want you to come again!

Hunting For AdventureI really wish bowhunting was legal over there. That would be a fun hunt.
Sorry Tom, even though this is the country of 'Robin Hood & men in tights' - bow hunting is not allowed.

L. David KeithFriends, I know Ian personally and can attest to his professionalism and knowledge of game. He's a fine fella and fun to hunt with. You will be in good hands. Aside from the unique game, be sure to stop by and ask the Queen for an autograph...lol

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......
