Tickets are $100 each. There are only 400 tickets in this draw and the drawing is now the 31st of August 2012. The hunt can be taken in 2012 or 2013. The winner will receive $2000 towards airfares/transfer fees.

You can send a cheque made out to AFRICAN HORIZONS

You can also buy tickets from other Save operators.

The holder of the winning ticket will hunt with whom he bought the ticket.

I have (the winning) tickets from Buzz Charlton and Mokore.

You can't have the winning ticket. Peggy said that she would make sure I got it....

Last I heard this drawing was postponed until August 1, 2012. Did anyone hear if it still was going to happen with everything going on in the Conservancy?

How can we ensure that this raffle will be fair? Will you have an accounting firm count all tickets and supervise the drawing? Will you hold it publicly- maybe at SCI?

If you do not trust the SVC operators do not buy a ticket.

I bought several and would prefer to see them keep the money, not do the hunt, and use the money for expenses to fight the crap they are going through.

i am confused. Mark's post is dated May 2010!!!. next post is 2 years later!!! given the current situation in Save, seems doubtful this raffle is ongoing.

The drawing was to be held in March of 2012 but was postponed until August 31st.

Update from Melanie Duckworth

At current everything is up in the air in the Save so when we know more we will either refund all monies received for the raffle but if all is ok then we will continue to sell tickets and then do the draw.
