Len HawkinsHow big is the property/properties? What are realistic expectations for trophies (especially nyala and eland). The price for this is excellent!
14 December 2009, 14:26
500nitroLen,
the nyala/kudu area is around 4000ha hilly terrain and the eland area which is an hour away is around 3000ha (about 2.2 acres/ha)
We took a 51 and 57" kudu there last season, and a 27.5" nyala, and the next group after us took a 30", so they are around, but realistically work around 26 to 28".
Eland around 30-35", but we have seen some bigger, and true to Sod's law, normally when we are not hunting them.
