We have sold our DG quota in the Sijarira Forest on Lake Kariba with the exception of (2) elephant bulls and because the season is upon us we are going to let these go cheap offering someone a great safari at a rock bottom price.

Our first clients of the year just returned from Sijarira and reported seeing "Shit Loads" of elephants and several bulls in the 30#-45# class. They also shot buff on day one and saw many more along with kudu, zebra, warthog and impala. Considering the amazingly heavy cover in Zim this year they did very well.

Elephant bull pricing:

1x1 10 days $15,900 to include (1) elephant trophy fee

1x1 10 days $27,000 toinclude (2) elephant trophy fees

Add days at $650 per day
Add buffalo bull $5,000

Extras:

Road transfer Vic Falls to Sij $100 RT
Dip/pack $300-$500 dependent on number of animals taken
Zim tax on daily rates 2%
Zim tax on trophy fees 4%
MARS $10 per day

Trophy fees:

TROPHY FEES – available for all hunts quota permitting. Fees are subject to change without notice.

Lion $ 7,000
Buffalo Female $ 1,200
Bushbuck $ 600
Duiker $ 300
Hippo $ 3,500
Impala $ 250
Klipspringer $ 800
Impala Female $ 100
Steenbuck $ 400
Kudu $ 1,200
Baboon $ 50
Civet $ 500
Grysbuck $ 600
Hyena $ 400
Zebra $ 1,200
Crocodile $3,500

This is a smokin' deal. Contact mme anytime with questions.

WOW- Mark, what a deal...not to mention that the lodge setup is pretty incredible. Like being on a beachfront resort with pretty good fishing if you killed early...

We saw lots of ele there while cruising up the river that splits Sij and Chete. This would be a great way for someone to kill a bull ele without breaking the bank...

Good Hunting,

TWO bulls for under $30K... Eeker Thats a deal!

My dad and I were there. If you go looking for elephants you will find them. You may find them even if you are not looking. The night we arrived they were all over the airstrip above camp. Tim Lamprecht the PH will bust his ass and his cruiser to get you what you want. Don't go expecting a lot of plains game. We hunted unsuccessfully for zebra and kudu after we got the buff. Right now the brush is just too thick and there is a lot of water in the hills.

Mark,

There is a tuskless ele there. We spotted one in a herd in the forest south of the airstrip.

This is a low profit hunt but I don't think your offer although generous would be accepted. I'm sincerely sorry about that!!!!

What a time to be broke.
I will apply for some OBAMA money then I will be set. Maybe I can send a claim to BP.
I got sick just watching it in TV that should count for some type of payment.
Oh well good luck on the hunt wish I could go.

I have recently returned from hunting the Sij with Tim Lamprecht. There are lots of ele, and some that are quite cheeky. We were charged three times, once by a bull we are hunting. That was as near to becoming elephant toe jam that I care to get. This is a hunt for the serious hunter, who is willing to work hard walking 8 to 10 hours per day. Tim and Wayne are top notch PH. If you need hand holding and butt wiping these are not the PH's to go with. Tim Lamprechtwas deadly serious while on track busting his butt to get onto game. I shot my ele on the 7th day of the hunt. Frontal brain shot, one and done. Due to the late rains the bush is thick and visibilty was typically 10 to 40 yards. We worked hard to get onto dugga boys but the thick jess and swirling winds defeated us. Took a hippo on the 13th day. I was very satisfied with this hunt. It was challenging physically and mentally. The game is plentiful and there for the individual who is willing to work hard. Camp accomadations are very good and food excellent. I hope to be able to hunt with Tim Lamprecht in the future, he is a great guy and hard worker.

Tim
