The Dall Sheep is one of the most prestigious and sought after big game trophies in North America. This outfitters hunt area is located on the north side of the Brooks Range in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. Their exclusive rights to this Federal concession of 20 + years has allowed them the ability to properly manage their area resulting in high shot opportunities on trophy class rams. The Brooks Range of Northern Alaska is considered one of the most user friendly mountain ranges when it comes to sheep hunting. That being said, you will want to be in the best physical condition possible. All sheep hunts are fully guided 1x1 by experienced guides with a passion for mountain hunting. You and your guide will spike out during your hunt and modern tent camps and gear will be provided. After your hunt you can return to base camp for showers, internet and home cooked meals are provided. This is a truly rewarding and challenging hunt but one that should be on the bucket list for any North America Big Game hunter.

I hunted east of them last year. Also in ANWR.

Magnificent country. Saws lots of sheep, griz and caribou. Weather SUCKED!

I would be going back for another sheep if I hadn't taken one last year. Hell of a deal.

Prime dates too. Weather tends to be a bit better early at the opener August 10th, but as always it's a mixed bag that far north.

Rhyme of the Sheep Hunter
May fordings never be too deep, And alders not too thick; May rock slides never be too steep And ridges not too slick.
And may your bullets shoot as swell As Fred Bear's arrow's flew; And may your nose work just as well As Jack O'Connor's too.
May winds be never at your tail When stalking down the steep; May bears be never on your trail When packing out your sheep.
May the hundred pounds upon you Not make you break or trip; And may the plane in which you flew Await you at the strip.
