Terry Anders has two leopard/sable combos and three PG pkg hunt available on two private properties near Bulawayo. The properties are Broadwell that has a nice camp with stone chalets and Dingwall where you will have a comfy tented camp. Both areas are 10,000 game fenced acres each that have had very little pressure. Leopard can be huge and PG is abundant plus of good quality.

These hunts could easily be paired with a visit to Victoria Falls and/or Hwange park as they are only about a half days drive on good roads from the Falls and the park. Terry has his own photo tour company so anyone could book any combination of activities you might want all with the same operator.

Hunt dates 1-30 May or 4 August onward

Upgrade to leop/buff/sable 1x1 18 days $1,000 per day

Buffalo will be hunted at Ngamo Sikumi while Terry's appy is baiting the leopard on the ranches. When the buffalo is taken or there is a big tom feeding the hunt will move to the ranches.

I think you are thinking about Cawston that Ron Oliver used to be exclusive booking agent for. Like these properties Cawston is also not far from Bulawayo.

The reason I bring that up is he felt that this ranch was not able to sustain a shootable population of leopards. Just that the proximity to so many other small ranches made the odds of getting a leopard was not very good. Also when you have cattle around hard to bait leopards. Just was clarifying this is not the same ranch

It would be hard to comment on what Ron told you. I'd find it hard to believe that Cawston doesn't have some resident leopard. Terry has a client hunting these ranches in May with Wayne Bartlett. I'll report the results.

Terry Skyped that Wayne Bartlett and the client had taken a big tom leopard plus 29 3/8" waterbuck and 36.5" eland on Dingwall. They are very happy. One more leopard is still available for '12 on Broadwell.
