Folks here are some very attractively priced European hunts:

Roe deer:
Three night package - 6 outings AM and PM + 2 roe buck any size 1900 euros. Hunters will need to travel at their own expense to the hunting area in the South of France. Details provided when booking the hunt.

The Roe deer hunt is a prefect hunt for the whole family as the hunt is in the AM and PM and the rest of the day can be spent sight seeing, exploring small vilages or just relaxing. Its a great hunt also for children to be introduced to hunting. This package price includes guide, food, transportation during the hunt and comfortable and clean accomodation in local B&B and homes we rent without being over the top. If hunters wish Luxury accomodation can also be catered for, which would of course increase the cost of the package but the option is certainly available. Hunters can also add more days and hunt for more bucks if they so wish.

This area in the South of France is very pretty, more general info can be found here www.tourisme-gers.com

Chamois OR Mouflon OR Red Stag
Three night package + any ONE of the above species [any size] 2500 euros. Hunters will need to travel at their own expense to the hunting area. Details provided when booking the hunt.

If a hunter wishes to hunt more than one species, they will need to add extra days at 400 euros per day + 1300 euros trophy fees.

The package includes:
Guide
Food
Accomodation in local B&B, small hotels
Transportation during the hunt

Extras:
Cost of hunting licence - I believe this is 110 euros for 3 days.
50 euros for field preparation per trophy

Taking rifles into France is no problem or you can use the guide's rifle at no cost. Current or ex Military calibers are not allowed in France.

Arjun,
What dates can the Roe be hunted... I seem to remember it is a summer hunt. And what dates for the other species? Could one combine Roe with Chamois? Thanks!

hello, for Chamois or Isard the season started this 8 or 9 september.

the roe deer opened when and where you can hunt during the summer started the 1 st of june up to 8 of september then became the main season where you can still hunt but mostly under driven hunts.

while still doable i myself wont hunt roe deer past 15th of august.

so a combo can be done but maybe not practical and not the best nor for chamois nor roe ...

Reddy : the hunting license cost shouldnt be that bad even with the big game stamp and insurance especially for three days.

The dates for the hunts are;

Roe deer - mid June to Mid September
Chamois, Mouflon or Red Stag - 1st September onwards. Different areas have different closing dates but more or less to the end of the year.

Here are some more photos of Chamois shot by our clients:

By the way we offer both the Alpine as well as the Pyrenean chamois.
