I have been in the outfitting business for 13 years now offering elk and deer hunts in Both Western and Eastern Montana. The latest trend we have seen is for hunters showing up with fantastic new equipment but not being all that familiar with how to shoot it!! We have decided to install a couple ranges at the ranch where we do most of our eastern hunts. I am haveing life size steel targets made out of 3/8 AR500 steel. Most long range courses have square or circle targets. What fun is that? We will have 2 ranges that will have 10 life size North American game targets from bison down to coyote. At These ranges we will be able to stretch yardages out to 1200 to 1500 yards. ( we can also set up at shorter yardages. ) there will be a regular target range at the house that will be from 100 to 850 yards and A mock prairie dog town from 300 to 600 yards.

We are setting these trips NOT as an instructional course , but as a place to practice with the equipment you have. We may offer individual time frames in the future with an instructor but we will see what we have for interest in that.

Lodging will be at the same ranch house we conduct our big game hunts at in the fall. Group sizes will from between 4 and 6. Meals are included for the full days you will be there. ( not on day of arrival or departure).
