If you haven't been to Bots and want a new place to hunt PG, Kanana is the place. I hunted with Jason in 2012. Jason runs a great operation. The quality of his eland, by the way, is outstanding. I took a 38" bull and saw larger ones. I highly recommend Kanana for many reasons. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

Everyone raves about Kanana. I'm wanting to go to Namibia, but this one has me thinking. A couple of questions come to mind:

1. Is the zebra in pkg1 a mtn or plains zebra?
2. How much is the airport transfer?
3. Is there a charge for rifle rental/use?
4. What dates are open from late May through early July?
5. Is Maun as easy to get to as Windhoek?

Thanks for the help.

Hi JG

Many thanks for the questions - answers as below.

1. Plains Zebra
2. Airport transfer is $400 round trip
3. No charge for rifle rental/use, only the ammo at cost
4. The calendar is pretty full through those dates, would there be any hunters accompanying you on the trip? I will send you a PM with some date options
5. Maun is very easy to get to. It involves flying USA - Jhb - Maun. The key is to look for a flight that gets in to Jhb early morning which then allows you to catch the flight straight up to Maun with out having to overnight in Jhb. All the Jhb to Maun flights get in between 1pm and 2pm which allows us more than enough time to get to camp (roughly 3 1/2hr drive)

Chat soon
