Here's a hunt in southwest Alberta that I've had clients, and myself, on for the past 4 years. I have one group of 4 that just re-booked for their 4th consecutive year in 2013. Due to the high number of repeats, I rarely get to book anyone new on this hunt. Well I just talked to the outfitter and was informed there are 4 rifle spots for Oct. 28 - Nov. 1, 2013.

This is a hunt that you can do as a truck hunt and then spot and stalk or do it on foot. You will get to look over a lot of bucks and can be selective. The guys that hold out, usually kill the bigger bucks. I have one client that killed a 197 in 2010 and a 187 in 2012. The clients that were there this fall commented that there were lots of 170+ bucks that should be great bucks next year.

Price is $6500 for 2x1 and $8000 for 1x1. Meals, lodging, airport shuttle (Calgary)are also included. License cost is approx. $250 and guaranteed through the outfitter.
