MARK H. YOUNGExcellent chance of taking a B&C antelope in NM.
I thought I'd bring this to the top again and change the title since I had very little interest and figured people did not understand that a very big antelope can be taken on this hunt. I also can offer some other dates than I could originally.
Matt Woodward who we are working with in AZ and NM has one 2x1 antelope hunt available for Sept 13-15. Matt will do the hunt himself and clients would have all the ranch and ranch house all to themselves.
The ranch historically has produced an average of 80" with the largest buck being 91". The ranch is 20,000 acres and this 2x1 hunt is one of only two rifle hunts that will be conducted there in '11. You can only imagine how tame these goats are.
The price is $3,000 per hunter 2x1 and is all inclusive from pick up at Tucson airport to drop off at hunt's end. The only extras are NM lic $290 and NM tax 7.2%

L. David KeithThat is a very good price Mark and that area WILL produce B&C bucks every year. I've taken 27 antelope over the years and B&C bucks don't fall outta trees. You have to be in the right area and AZ and NM is THE right area. Try drawing a tag in AZ. You'll win the lottery first.

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

Brian ClarkNew Mexico is second only to to Wyoming in producing B&C antelope over the last 10 years (216 vs 409) but wyoming shoots nearly 100 times more antelope per year, That's why New Mexico is such a great state for big Antelope.

MARK H. YOUNGISS,
You have one guide for 2 hunters in a 2x1. The hunters work out who shoots first. It can work nicely with the right people or be a recipe for two friends ending up enemies. In most cases I don't recommend it but for pronghorn where the oppotunities are many it works really well particularly for good friends or family members hunting together.
