Map of hunting area: In NORTH Cameroun, we hunt in two differents blocks. West blocks to the west of Road (South to North) Ngaoundere to Garoua; We call that region FARO (name of the main river and name of the National Park)
East blocks to the east of the same road; We call that region BENOUE (name of the river and name of the National Park). Where you will hunt will depend upon the available quotas at the time. Our main camp is on the BENOUE river near Taboum south of TCHOLIRE. To reach that camp, its 2 hours on a good road from GAROUA to entrance of Benoue National Parc. Then 1 hour to cross the parc on a good dirt road
then we across the Benoue and 2 more hours on not so good dirt road.

Success Rate: I am told the chances on the main species i.e. Eland and Buffalo are close to 90%. A lot of it depends upon the ability of the hunter to walk in the heat. This concession also has a good number of plainsgame species so hunters can expect a good success rate here.
