Can't stand the horns that close together, I prefer the wider look. I'm afraid I wouldn't even consider shooting that one as for me its much more about the look then the inches.

Agreed. I sure wouldn't go as high as your current bidder.. unless we're bidding in ZAR.

Besides, why would you "auction" a kudu (and an ugly one at that) online??

Amarulahunt,

not to be funny but this is an odd topic, i would have to agree on the above post on just about all.

but at least you are honest in your video about the way you guys hunt , i think its 1m16s.

that being said, i have a kudu bull in my area that will go well over 65" and we he is not being auctioned off, i have left him for one lucky hunter who i believe will appreciate him. if he does not get him i will try and take him in Oct. i doubt he will make another season.

good luck

I'd cull him for ya...

I like a little more narrow on the horns than most guys, but this guy is just too narrow. Should cull him so he doesn't pass on his genetics.

Not sure I'd even spend a management fee for it.

You need to find yourself a hunter that prefers or seeks out oddities.

Since I will be IN SA in June of 2011 not long after you declare the winner of youer auction I will get myself to your location and you pay ME $250 a day to cull him for you. Which is cheape than what I charge my clients per day in my profession.

My Gosh!! we are witnessing the first canned kudu hunt right here in our little community. I will now hold true to my promise to Saeed to behave myself and be civil and refrain from telling you how I really feel about this.

Its disturbing to see a photo of a pet kudu. Bidding? Got to be kidding, I'd be ashamed to pay to shoot him. I would be the laughing stock in the hunting community.

Just my two cents.

Imagine if the anti-hunters get a hold of this. It would make us "real" hunters look like ?

This is to all of the comments of the guys that says Gods creation is ugly If its not your cup of tea so be it but shows if you call it "twatwaffle"
Biltong and so on you don't respect the creation that was put on earth for you to manage

I will challenge Idaho sharpshooter if any outfitter can produce in the next 48 hours another photo shot or not of the same type of Kudu I will eat my hat and leave this site with no complaint what so ever

The discussion on other sites is way more pleasant then this one thy com pair it toa non typical bucks I understand like I previously said it is not every 1 cup of tea but maybe by proofing to all of you that it is really rear and you will be the only one with one of this Kudu you could be the one every body admire and not the laugh of your hunting club

Thanks to all the ones responding in a different way directly to my mail I wish you will just put up the positive response year so the guys will see not everybody is feeling the same

It shows no respect to auction an individual animal to be 'hunted'....

In my opinion, from a hunters point-of-view, it shows extremely poor taste....

I rarely comment on other people's offers but in this case I feel it's justified.

I reckon Matt has it absolutely right. (to say the least).

Jaques, I don't know if you're a member of PHASA but assume you probably are....... in which case, you might like to take a look at the Aims & Objectives and also the Code Of Conduct.

While you're at it, you might also like to take a look at the rules of posting an offer here because you're also in breach of them.

So where does it say people cant give negative comment in "Outfitters Offered and Discounted Hunts"???

Like Shakari said - I NEVER post in others advertisments - but I draw the line at individual live animals being offered for sale, much less being auctioned off....

You want to give anti-hunters some ammunition - then LOOK right here...

This is what is called a perfectly canned hunt offering!

For a start, this is not an auction site, so you cannot ask how much anyone is willing to pay.

Atmarulahunt,

I have deleted some of your previous offerings, as they did not comply with our rules.

If you wish to continue to offer your hunts here, you have to comply with our rules.
