If you ever dreamed of hearing the bay of the hounds under a big bruin this hunt is for you. This area in the west Chilcotin has a large population of black bear and limited pressure. Very few bears get harvested each year from this area making the chances of harvesting a true trophy very real. This is the first year I am offering hound hunting for this area as spot and stalk was the previously used tactic.

Hunts are based out of my lodge in the heart of the 450 sq mile guide block.
Cost of the hunt 7 day hunt $3500.00 usd plus 5%gst tax. each hunter







A second bear can be taken for a $1000.00 trophy fee.
Licence $180.00 plus gst
each tag $180.00 plus gst

Price includes pick up and drop of at Williams Lake BC Aiport.

What size bear is possible and what is likely to be taken? The only bummer is no handguns up there.

Woody, Bears over 7 foot have been taken in the past. Last year 6'10" was the biggest. The odd spring bear tips the scale over 400lbs. Most good boars go 300 lb plus.

Joshua, Spring hunts start April first and run to the end of June. This is the first year this hunt has been offered so the dates are wide open. The beginning of May the hunting really starts picking up.

Still prime hunts available, this is an archers dream, daily action and time to really look over the bears. Spot and stalk late in the evenings if you want as well.
