That's pretty cool. I've always thought I might like to go back to the savannah just to hunt buffalo but few outfit for it. I understand to a point, costs just as much to outfit a buff hunt as an LDE safari but that keeps some of us from revisiting these concessions! I would like to see these safaris do well... a future option for me.

I'll be by in Dallas to talk to you about option #1, assuming I can find a hotel room at this late date.

Intriguing pricing for sure. Who is the outfitter and what is the hunting area?

How do you get from Douala to Garoua or Ngoundere? Air Cameroon is a joke of cancelled flights and charters are outrageous. Also what is the cost for an observer?

. . . as an aside, having been to Cameroon once with rifles, I will never do that again. Never. It is an expensive and painful process (e.g., will end up costing around $1000, will require you to send your Passport to Europe, etc.). Just use the outfitters weapon.

Folks,

The unit for this hunt is 17. Outfitter Patrick Le Parc.

There is no other option but to fly the local airline Camair from Douala to Ngaoundere. The best way to get there is to fly from Paris to Douala, overnight and then fly the next day to Ngaoundere where the outfitter meets you. From there it is a 4+ hour drive to camp.

Yes taking a rifle to Cameroon is a pain! But we handle everything for you. It will cost about a $1,000 because your gun permit and visa has to be issued by the embassy in Brussels, so extra cost for this! We have included the use of a 375 in these packages to offset this misery and expense! Thierry we are one of the few concessions with Korrigum on licence, I believe we get 2 permits a year. Last year Mark Hampton (the well known handgun hunter) shot one with us. To be clear you cannot shoot a Korrigum on these packages, if anyone is interested I will be happy to get a price for a Korrigum hunt.

We also have availability for LD Eland and my advice is to go before it is too late.....
