Folks - We have 2 tags / hunts still open in 2017, for an Own Use - Non Exportable bull elephant.

The hunts are conducted by Hentie Van Heerden / Van Heerden Safaris, a very long time friend of mine! This is a fabulous opportunity to hunt big / mature bulls, and a very reasonable rate. Most times one is looking for a single tusker, bulls with broken tusks, etc. But these bulls are generally very big bodied animals, the experience is a true elephant hunt - in wild Africa.

Below are the details, and the prices. Please contact me (Aaron Neilson / Global Hunting Resources) at globalhunts@aol.com if you are interested?

Great prices for an ellie! Since you aren't allowed to sell your sport-hunted ivory, maybe this is a good way to go.

I wonder if you can make fiberglass replicas of the tusks and then send them home??

I'm not really interested in killing another elephant, but his does seem like hunting elephants at buffalo prices.

Take a lot of pictures and measurements of the tusk and have replicas made here. A number of taxidermists offer this. I hade mine made by Dennis at Artistry of Wildlife, who posts here. They look just like the original

i have done 2 of these hunts and videoed a third one for my brother-in-law. They are addicting and these bulls are huge compared to a cow elephant- at close to the same price.
