Folks,

Gary Hopkins/Klipkraal Travel and Safari has a nice variety of species to sell in the Zim Forestry Areas. These hunts I've listed are one main animal plus PG but Gary can do a combination of two or more if that is what a hunter wishes. For instance a buff or tuskless/sable would make a great combination in Nagamo Sikumi as all three species are good on Sikumi and there is a possibility of taking a big sable there. I personally shot a 45" sable, 39" eland and a steinbuck in three days there. Gary also says he's never had a tuskless failure at Sikumi and you will see loads of elephant particularly late season.

Trophy elephant hunts will be conducted on the Gwaayi Mbemberi Umgusa Forest. Expectation should be for 45# and up plus you should see 15-50 bulls in a day. Leopard are also available here but can be difficult.

Hippo and croc will be available in the Kavira Forest on Lake Kariba. Expect 3 meters or more on the croc and a big old Hippo bull.

All these areas have PG and I know personally that Sikumi and Gwaayi have good PG.
