Just signed up a new ranch in New Mexico for Elk. 
This is a non unit area near Clayton NM. This is near the Oklahoma border.
This is a 40,000 acre ranch about 15,000 has a great elk population of over 300 animals. What's unique is this is not a game ranch but this elk herd lives here year round.
What else is unique about this area we can start to hunt the first of September any WEAPON yes you can use rifle during the middle of the rut and bugling as well as bow or muzzleloader.
Last year was the first year to hunt this ranch had only 2 permits both hunters where successful , trying to get some pictures from rancher but both bulls exceed 350".
The neighboring ranch harvested 5 very big bulls. This is a diamond in the rough in a non typical elk area.  
Well the details
Only 5 permits for sale only 2 hunters in any consecutive 5 days. September 1, till December 31.
Have camp and food included, lodging may be a combination of a camper and or wall tents.
Completely and fully guided.
This hunt is on very easy flat terrain . Shots to be at 300 to 450 yards the most.
The early September hunt should be feet not yards.
Total $8500 plus NM license.
This hunt any where else would be a $15,000 .
ALMOST FORGOT HAVE GREAT ANTELOPE HUNTS HERE ALSO.
ONE OF A KIND HUNT CAN HUNT ELK AND ANTELOPE SAME HUNT with rifle.
GOOD SIZE GOATS. $3750 guided also.
