I have one elephant available for this year. The hunt is in Namibia. The hunting concession area is North of Khaudum complex Kavango East. This is the old stomping ground of Kai Uwe Denker or in the close vicinity.

The first bull of the season was taken 3 days ago and is estimated at 70lb+. It has 3 feet sticking out and 21" at the lip! Photo below:

The outfitter only gets 4 permits a year and has 1 permit left for this year. The largest bull last year was 86lbs and if I am not mistaken the smallest was 65+!

Cost of the hunt is $35,000

Total daily Rate, pick up and drop off from windhoek - 8hrs by road, all permits, fees etc.

Trophy fees $30,000 any size

14 hunting days

You can also fly to Rundu from Windhoek and from there it is a 2.5 hr drive.

There is also some plainsgame that can be hunted in this concession or after the elephant hunt you can hunt for plains game down in the South.

If anyone is looking for a quality elephant hunt this is it! It is an area where the ultimate dream of an ele hunter can come true~! It is also a discounted price, this hunt normally sells for 85K and is the quota is also sold out for 2023.

I am led to believe that this ivory will be importable in to the States, atleast all the findings and studies have been done to please our authorities!

Arjun, is this the Nyae Nyae? I know Kai Uwe Denker used to hunt the Nyae Nyae when he shot a few 100# bulls. SMJ safaris has the area now and I will be going there in July for a non-trophy.

Nyae Nyae is south of Khaudum, this is north of it. George Mukoya and Muduva Nyangana Conservancies. Together they make up the Khaudum North Complex.

Later is better, just a few water points. Roan, eland, a few blue Wildebeests have been transplanted in but not sure if huntable. Gemsbok, giraffe and impala.

If Jose is still the chef/camp manager you will eat GOOD! Good camp!

I was there in 2017 looking for a leopard.

The management bull has been sold. The trophy elephant hunt is still available.

There is some plainsgame available in this concession, but if you are looking for a bigger bag then you can add a few days and hunt in the south.
