THEABOVE ELE IS FROM YESTERDAY AND A GOOD EXAMPLE OF WHAT YOU MIGHT EXPECT ON THE 60# MAX HUNT. ESTIMATE IS 58#

Folks,

In reality in most areas if a guy shoots a 50# or better bull elephant he should be happy in today's Africa.

SV SAFARIS who I represent in the Chobe can offer an all inclusive 1x1 10 day elephant bull hunt for $48,500 for a bull up to 60#. If the PH makes a the call and the ivory weight is more than 60# it's on him and costs you nothing additional. If you run into a 70 pounder or larger and want to shoot it you can but but it will cost a hefty per pound rate of $800 per pound after 60#.

My first comment might be if I was reading this offer "that doesn't seem like a super deal". Well consider this, In Zimbabwe you might find a similar price but you'd pay 2% on the day fee, 4% on the trophy fee, VAT, road transfers, conservation levy and an observer fee. The SV price is all inclusive of any of those extras plus the gun permit and FREE OBSERVER

Prime late season October dates are open with 2 bulls left on quota.

My other add for SV has pix and further details.

Cheers,

Mark

Heck Mark
Let’s say you shoot a 70# Bull….
$56k and change
80# bull approx 65k

It’s a great deal
Where else could you shoot an 60-80 pound bull either that cheap and/or you don’t pay the extra 8k-16k (or whatever) if you don’t shoot a monster

I did the math too. Looks like a great deal. Wish I could hunt in October. It's one of my favorite months, but my firm's fiscal year end, so can't be away.

Guys,

If you can come short notice, 18-27 July is open with empty camp. If you don't mind sharing camp with one other party you can pick several dates throughout the season.

Yes! I think when you compare this to other similar hunts this one comes out as a very good deal.
