Come to unit 23 16 miles South of Gillette Wyoming for a three day rifle antelope hunt in October for the price of $1750. This includes your lodging, meals and guides as well as on location transportation. If you fly in we will pick you up at the Gillette Wyoming Airport free of charge. This hunt takes place on roughly 30,000 acres of private land with plenty of antelope with trophy potential. Don't expect to break the record books but go home with a nice mature representative. Licenses are not guaranteed but we have never had a client not draw. You stay right in the ranch house on the hunting property and the meals are nothing fancy but rather good old fashion home cooked meals. Nonresident licenses cost $272 with a nonresident application fee of $14. This is with my aunt and uncle Bill and Cindy Mankin with my brother Ryan Routier also guiding.

We hunted a ranch in that general area. Lots more grass than sage and the speed goat tasted great. It's a fun hunt where you're never out of sight of some game.

Yes we are fortunate to have lots of animals in this area. Also open to archery hunts in the month of September at the same price for five days.

Any chance for a doe along with the buck?

My personal favorite is a .270 but probably just because that is what I grew up with. Most commonly recommended is something that is fast and flat. Shot distances more often than not are 250 yards and under. Whatever rifle you are comfortable at that distance is most important.
