Dates - hunting season is 1st June - 30th September

Walk & Stalk - $250 per hunter (Price includes service of a guide, rifle and ammunition hire, pick up and drop off from hotel, GVT taxes, hunting permit, snacks and soft drinks)

Driven Hunt - $900 per hunter ( Price includes service of a guide, rifle and ammunition hire, pick up and drop off from hotel, lunch, drinks, GVT taxes, hunting permit, and trophy fees for 3 yearling deer and 1 boar but bear in mind on a driven hunt there is no garuntee that you will get all 3 yearling and boar. It's luck of the draw.

Trophy Fees:

34"- under 36" = $3000
30" - under 34" = $2500
25" - under 30" = $1500
20" - under 25" = $1000
15" - under 20" = $800
Under 15" = $400
Yearlings = $250
Sow/Boar = $300
Non Typical Stag = 25% off trophy fee
Observers $100 per person

Measurements - These are done by an official Master Measurer and not by the land owner or guide. Prices are based on longest antler. Full trophy fee to be paid for wounded and lost animals.

Hotel Accomodation - you can stay at a hotel of your choice and we ask that you do the booking directly. Prices vary from $150 - $500+ per person per night depending on where you want to stay. However, we recommend a place called Tamarina Hotel. This is a decent 3 star and is very well situated as far as access to the hunting area goes. They offer free golf passes to one of the better courses on the island.

Fishing/other activities - This can be arranged on request.

Rifles - Rifles we offer are .243, .270 and 30-06. All rifles are fitted with either Zeiss or Swarovski scopes.

This is a perfect place to take family and is a great add on to someone who already has a trip booked to Africa. Mauritius is only 3:40min flight from Johannesburg and you wouldn't need more than 5 days there for a great experience. There are also daily flights from Dubai, Paris, London and Frankfurt. My own family is from Mauritius. I have loads of relatives that live there and I go there every year. I will personally be in Mauritius from 21st June - 10th July this year, so if someone can make it then, I'll happily take care of them.
