The deer hunt is offered on 35,000+ acres of several private ranches combined along the Musselshell River area North of Billings, MT.

There are quite a few deer around, both mule deer and whitetail plus loads of elk. Opportunity on a deer is basically 100% if everybody shoots well, they should take home a masture buck.

Cow Elk can be added to this deer hunt for an additional fee which to me is a real bonus.

Hunts can be adjusted to fit any degree of physical fitness. These ranches offer an easy going hunt, via spot / stalk, tree stand, and or blind hunting over crop fields.

Accommodations are in a ranch house with real beds, hot showers, home cooked meals plus TV and WiFi. You'll be very comfortable.

If you are flying, there are two options, hunters can get their own rental and drive to camp, or WHC can arrange to have them picked up in Billings, MT for $300/round trip. Billings is easily reached from just about anywhere in the States.

This is in a General area for deer so (2) preference points are required to be assured of drawing. For 2023, you will need to buy a point by December 31 and can pick up another in March when they apply as well as an additional outfitter preference point, giving them 100% odds of drawing a general tag.. If guys wish to hunt in 2024, they will simply need to purchase two points, one each year till their hunt.

This is a great opportunity for a group of 2 to 3 guys to book together and take the camp and all of the ranches just for themselves for a week. There will be no more than 4 hunters on any of these hunts.
