Hello Guys,
Poland is known for its game number, but not so much for the quality of game.
This area is different and has it both.

The area is 18,000hectars (45,000acres) and has red stag in the range of 7-10kg.
You should plan to go between 1-10th September to hit the rut.

You can either rent a gun (about 250€ for the hunt) or bring your own.

The date rate is 1000€ for 4days of hunting and 5 nights accommodation.

Includes:
- 5nights Accommodation with full board
- 4 days hunting
- License & Insurance

Excludes:
- Stalking fee, 30€/outing = 240€ total
- Trophy fee (see below)

Trophy fee is:

Some red stag from last seasons:

10kg

9kg

10kg

7 & 8kg

Dennis

What part of the country is the hunting grounds in and what airport would we fly into?

Is airport pickup and transportation to the hunt site included?

Can you provide assistance with Polish gun permits if we bring our own rifle?

What would be a normal shooting distance would the hunt are be heavily forested with spot and stalk or is hunting done from a stand?

Forgive all the questions but I'm trying to find someplace new/interesting to hunt.

The rut is fairly short and in a premium red stag area the only animal hunted during that time will be trophy red stag.
We could potentially move to another area and try for fallow deer and wild boar.
You might want to look at my other offer in Macedonia, which has the option to add chamois.

Thank you for these questions and apologies for not including it from the beginning.

1) The closest city is Poznan. There is an airport and that would of course be the best option for us. However we would have to see what route is possible for you. You could even fly into Germany and we arrange transfer from there.

2) No airport transfer is not included because we don't know which route. We would have to look where you could fly to and the transfer would be charged depending on that. To Poznan airport would be best.

3) To bring a gun, you have to apply for a voucher in the embassy of Poland in the US. I can help with that, but can't do it for you unfortunately.
There are good guns available there locally to rent.

4)Yes it is fairly heavy forest and the hunt will be done by walk and stalk, high seat and calling stags in. Shooting distance in the forest will be roughly from 10-120 yards. Sometimes they do come close :-)
Some Stags have their rutting spot in open meadows or even field. So sometimes it might be necessary to shoot 250yards. No real long shots necessary.

Thanks for the information, it sounds interesting. Maybe it would be a good idea to fly into Warsaw, rent a car and do a little sight seeing before and after the hunt.

Although that may be complicated if I bring a rifle, I'm left handed so loaner/rental rifles rarely work out well.

Dennis is 1375 Euros per kg?

Or am I bad at math?

So a 10 kg stag would be about 6890 Euros with the stalking and board fees?

Wow those are Bulgaria pricees or cheaper if that is the case.

Hello Dennis,

Great looking stags and very good offer.

Is the hunting area fenced?

I’ve hunted the Poznan area during the rut and there were indeed a lot of nice stags. Mine was 10.1 kg.....
