50"+ bull my client took on this hunt last year.

Buckbrush Outfitters is offering a moose rut hunt in Saskatchewan.This hunt is very remote and can only be conducted via boat because there is no real road system there. You'd arrive Saskatoon, overnight and be picked up the following morning. The road trip is 5 hours followed by 2 hours by boat to get to the camp. You are way out there.

The camp is located in a series of interconnected lakes making for almost an unlimited area to hunt. There will only be three hunters on this hunt and there is just this one rut hunt offered 26 Sept-5 Oct. There is no local pressure here and the fishing is incredible right from the dock for big pike.

You'll need to arrive Saskatoon 24 Sept, be picked up on the 25th, hunt 26 Sept-5 Oct and return to Saskatoon 6 Oct.

Camp is all cabins with real beds and wood heat.

Expectations are for a bull of 36"-50" and everybody should have a chance to kill a bull.

This could be quite a wilderness adventure.

1x1 10 days $4,000 was $5,000 originally $7,500 Add a black bear for $1,000 (Outfitter says it is very likely you'll kill a bear off your gut pile)

I would like to know how the meat would be handled getting back to Saskatoon. Once there is there some place to get it processed.

Guys,

On the way out the outfitter will assist with dropping the meat at the processor's shop and have it sent to your home. It's also possible to take meat as extra baggage. You'd need to check with whatever airline you used to see what they require to do that. My guy last year drove up and took the meat home in his coolers.

Native land/reservation hunt, I presume? If so, this probably should be clarified in the ad. These hunts can be great but they can also present their own unique challenges.

Mark - is this still on or even still available ? This nor nothing like it was on my radar, but it is interesting and I might could make it happen. If it is I'll get with on email or call you. I'll go and do some refiguring just in case.

I know you tell it straight up Mark, but are there other native land use / or reservation fees to pay additional to for this hunt?
