Hunt appears sold thank you for the interest. Only one tag available, this is the rarest bear tag in North America, no exaggeration. I'm 100% success on these hunts, all spot and stalk. We go in by boat and jet boat the turquoise coastal rivers through the rainforest, then spot and stalk on my honey holes. This hunt will be over the salmon run, September 2017, and includes free guided salmon fishing following your hunt ($1500 a day for the boat and guide locally). Expect busy fishing action and lots of bears, I've averaged seeing one good boar per day, and 2 1/2 days to get your coastal Grizzly. These are Brown bears that enter the books as Grizzlies, and 50% of bears shot have been Boone & Crockett All Time skulls. If you're patient we can be rather confident of a book bear. Bow hunters welcomed! Rate is $6,000 off standard and my neighbours, who are booked full anyhow, Bolen Lewis, and Milligan are the neighbours for comparison, both excellent outfits. $23,500US for ten days bear hunting and river salmon fishing, add a coastal black bear for $2,500 all in, you can actually take two if you wanted, only paid if you shoot them. Loaner rifle free if it makes your travel easier, though there are no advance arrangements required or difficulty in bringing your own. My neighbours are $8,900US for a coastal black bear hunt alone and you need a group for three hunters. Licence $180, Tag $1030, Harvest Royalty $1000, Hunter Preservation fund $200, and 2 1/2% sales tax. Ask me if you'd like to hunt Mountain Goat at the same time, we're centre of the record book region and can make a sharp combination deal. Hello Angus I am interested in this hunt and also combining it with black bear and mountain goat if opportunity shows up Best regards

Sounds good, the combination works wonderfully we only have to be sure you have enough days, I'd like to see 14 days available for a combination. This said average 2 1/2 days to get your coastal grizzly and we could dedicate the rest to other species if that holds. The coastal black bears we don't have to reposition for, can continue to hunt in the same place as the Grizzlies once we take your grizzly, and the mountain goats are a 20 minute floatplane hop to an alpine lake. I'll shoot you a message and we can chat it over, just the coastal goat hunt costs $15,000-21,000 at my neighbours on its own. -Angus

Thanks p dog, decidedly low tech no program here, just the settings my iPhone offers (I take photos in HDR in particular) and Instagram. Many of these are just iPhone photos, I do better with it than an SLR as it takes care of everything for you and let's me focus on hunting. Smaller too! Lot of folks are a little taken aback most of these are smartphone snaps.

I would like to talk to you about this hunt. It looks like an amazing hunt. I am taking customers and personally hunting Brown Bear in Alaska in may. A few customers of mine may be interested as well.

Guys, this is one of the most spectacular places to hunt in the world....we fished big King salmon in the area in July last summer....it is lousy with BEAR...because of FISH!! You will NOT be disappointed...and Angus is one of us who has hunted Africa and flies helicopters professionally, has great boats....what a combo. Someone has to take this hunt!! I am very tempted>>> Cheers, 470EDDY

Thanks Steve, yea... by September sometimes you literally have to shuffle in side channels not to step on salmon. That sounds like exaggeration but it's genuinely the case. Too many grizzly bears too as a result and that not going to change, the government just announced they're closing the coastal Grizzly hunt in BC, it's purely political. Suspect this is my last year to be able to hunt them, which is the only thing that has been moderately successful at keeping them out of my camps, so it's a frustrating development. End of an era, the hunter for this tag will be one of the last to harvest a Great Bear Rainforest Grizzly, perhaps even the last. Kimber1911, forgive my absence we had a new baby girl beginning of the month, I took time away from "work" to support the Mrs here as we have two boys that are fireballs as well. Will shoot you a message and we can chat, Angus
