Once again Dean is able to offer several PAC bulls near Bulawayo. These are night hunts and our clients have found them to be about the most exciting thing you can do in the hunting game.

Price:

$9,000 1x1 7 days including everything from pick up at Bulawayo airport to drop off at Bulawayo.

Below are a couple of bulls our clients have taken on this hunt.

Contact me anytime with questions or come visit at Dallas.

Not on a PAC hunt.. but don't let that detract from the hunt. It's a great hunt!

Please explain when I have hunted Jumbos before in Zim I was offered the opportunity to shoot some PAC jumbo's, but was told by the tribal guide it technically is illegal for the client to shoot it. Many other outfits have told me the same.. The program allows a PH to shoot the elephant. It as I understand is illegal to sell PAC or charge a client to shoot a PAC. The charge may not be for the PAC trophy fee just for the outfitting but the main intent of the hunt is a PAC so that I was told makes it illegal. Please explain matter a fact I had booked 3 of these myself this spring but was told they where off. I have read the government is watching these operation now very close. Please explain I am all for hunting them and want to be part of it just dont want to spend my last 20 years in a Harre Jail.
Thanks
Larry

About 10 years ago I took a bull ele in the Gonakudzingwa area of Zim. If I remember correctly it was a PAC bull. But, I have the ivory along with the proper export permit and Zim registration numbers for the tusks. Has the policy changed or was this a non PAC bull?

I've never heard anything like what you described. These PAC hunts have been coming off very smoothly for many years. The villages get these crop depridation permits and sell them to PH's who in turn sell them to hunters. If there was no client involved there would be little incentive for the PH and less benfit for the villages. I will make some inquiries though.

I don't know when it all changed but there was a time when PAC could be exported as i had people do it.

Guys,

I must apologise as the price I quoted was for a a 2x1. 1X1 is $9,000 all in. I've edited my ad.

Mark

Just spoke to Gary Duckworth on Skype. He knows of no issues as you described with PAC ele's.

I just want to put in a plug for Mark and Dean. I am the plump guy in green above. I had a truly great hunt. Dean is a pleasure to hunt with, and Mark is a gentleman of his word.

Funny enough, I have heard this same statement from a number of sources.

We jumped on someone offering PAC hunts in Mozambique a while back. And I understand the same laws apply in Zimbabwe.

May be they are turning a blind eye to it.

Larry, Saeed, Mark

Not sure if there are any issues pertaining to Zim PAC elephant, but for what it is worth we have been given a pre-approved letter from Council and Parks for PAC elephant and PAC buffalo so that if the need arrises we can take care of the PAC animal.

Its always fun, and as said in a dvd "the most fun that one can have with your pants on" ps-sometimes even more
