One of our top outfitters in the Wrangell Mtns. of Alaska has an opening for 2 hunters on a 2x1 basis Aug. 14-28 this season. This is a horseback hunt from his base camp located near the Yukon border. Hunt price is $28,000 ($14,000 per hunter) and INCLUDES air charter and transport from Fairbanks. This is a great hunt in an EXCLUSIVE USE AREA (no other outfitters can hunt here). Hunt is normally $38,000 so this is a HUGE savings! Price does NOT include license cost of $85 or sheep tag $400. Contact Steve Bellamy at Safari Outfitters for details on this excellent opportunity - (307) 587-5596 or e-mail: Steve@safari1.com

We have been sending hunters to this area since about 1990 (now working with the 3rd owner since then). Success rate overall runs about 90%. Average ram in this area will be in the 34-36" class. Largest we have ever had taken went 42".
If you would like to visit with Steve (he has hunted there) send him an e-mail: steve@safari1.com or call 307-587-5596. Thanks!

Is this hunt out of Horsfelt?

Yes, the hunt starts from Horsfeld. It's a great area to hunt with very limited hunting pressure. The outfitter is only taking 4 or 5 sheep hunters per season to maintain good trophy quality and give those rams a chance to gain some age and size.
Twoseventy, have you hunted there?
Cheers, Clark
