Tim BarracloughNew Mexico Cow Elk Hunts - July Special
I am the owner of Kiowa Hunting Service out of New Mexico. I have been in business for 24 years and am licensed by the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish.
Free range cow elk hunts are available for December of 2012 and January of 2013. The cost of the hunt is regularly, $1200.00 plus tax for a 1x1 and $1050.00 plus tax for a 2x1 hunt, this cost includes the landowner authorization from the ranch. The licenses are across the counter and bought prior to your arrival for the hunt. The hunt takes place exclusively on approximately 150,000 acres of the 566,000 acre Vermejo Park Ranch. Last year we had a 99+% harvest rate. Hunts are three days in length and include transportation during the hunt, guide on a prearranged ratio, cleaning of the harvested elk, and transportation of the elk to the processor or wherever the client wants. We have been doing these hunts for 10 years and have over a 99% harvest rate. We also have a few remaining bull elk hunts on other private ranches. Additional information can be gained at
www.kiowahunting.com.
This is a fully guided hunt, not a DIY hunt. This is a fair chase hunt. The July Special is a 10% discount for any single 1x1 youth hunter off the cost of the hunt or !5% if accompanied by a full paying adult hunter. This offer is valid for a youth, 16 years of age or younger at the time of the hunt. OR 10% off the cost of the hunt for any active duty military personnel. You have to state that you saw this ad on the accurate reloading site. This offer is valid only during the month of July.
Go to Hunting Reports - Rest of the world and research the reports on my cow hunts. Let me know what questions you may have.
Thanks. Tim Barraclough

Matt NormanMe too. Did this hunt with a co-worker late December 2011 and we were both successful. Good bang for the buck; well organized, saw lots of elk, everything as advertised.

chuck375My youngest son got his first elk with Tim while I was recovering from heart surgery. He's a confirmed hunter now. Thanks again Tim and thanks Ted for recommending Kiowa to me. This picture of him with his first elk says it all!

Tim BarracloughPM Answered, thanks. Tim.
Tim would this be available for visiting (Non US) hunters?

Tim BarracloughIt would be available. The only problem might be the availability of a hunter education card if they are under 18. If they have a hunter education card by the time we get the license, certainly it would be available.
