I have decided to sell my last New Mexico Landowner Tag for 2014 Bull elk.
This is for Unit 48. Private 1000 acre ranch.
This is a hunt is for December 2014 a last minute hunt.
These bulls migrate to the grain and alphafa fields and with snow will be a short hunt hunt.
This a non guided hunt but we will show you where to set up and hunt.
Not included lodging or food but we have a place close to this ranch for $100 per person per night will provide it, 3 meals a day and a nice clean lodge.
The price is $3500 plus $640 for the New Mexico license.
This is a very easy hunt for those that can't tackle the the rough mountain hunts.
This area has 300" to 330" for the normal we do have larger bulls that come in.
This area only will have 3 other hunter in December and we want to schedule you to be on your own.
This year there is an abundance of elk the great weather and rain has enhanced e antler growth this year.
I personally have seen some of the biggest bulls in the 25 years of hunting New Mexico.

The hunt will be conducted on the Taos Indian Reservation private ranch. This is located near Angle Fire New Mexico.
Completely full service hunt guide, meals and lodging.
This area can be a rewarding hunt with expectations of bulls in the mid 300" range.
The date of this hunt is For the first week of December
The main guide is Jerry Shanley but will be accompanied with tribal guides.
We do not have a web site.
You will need to purchase a New Mexico elk License about $640 all in.
This is about 3 hours North of Albuquerque.
Total cost per hunt $8500.

I also have a fully guided elk hunt on a 6600 acre ranch same guide.Ranch Only Tag.
Near Ocate New Mexico. one tag at present time.

This hunt would be a great late in the year December hunt.
