FourtyonesixKodiak Brown Bear
I've got two spots left to enter guys into the drawing for spring kodiak brown bear tags.
Draw deadline is dec 31st this year but paperwork needs to be signed and mailed in asap for your application to be eligable.
Hunts take place april 15-may 15 of 2010, hunt has been reduced to $12,000
This is a one on one guided hunt, i am the guide, fly to kodiak alaska, i will meet you there and fly out to camp with you. Transportation to and from kodiak to base camp is included in the price. Hunting license (85) and brown bear tag (500) and any hotel or overnights in kodiak are not included.
Great chance at some good bears off kodiak, if you have questions about the area contact me for information on how to get ahold of the local biologist and he'll fill you in on what to expect from this part of the island. I could tell you as well...but an ubiase party might be better!

scruffyI am so low on brown bears. I hunted in June on the Copper River and never even saw one.
What are the chances of seeing a brown bear on Kodiak ??? Legendary island, aside ???

BrettAKSCIIf you're blind.....not very good! If you're not blind....really good! Of course weather and the ecentricities of bear bevahior will dictate how many. Talk to the biologist as he said.
