interested. what is the best time for this?

This area has great numbers of sheep, so time of the year is not absolutely essential to success. The rut occurs anytime from start April to end June, with minor fluctuations, so as with any animals, this would be the best time to find the biggest rams with the herds.

Hunting conditions will also be more favorable during the cooler weather, as the animals enjoy the sun. As you can see,its quite unforgiving terrain. You'll be forgiven to think that you're hunting the mountains of Pakistan rather than Africa.

This ram was taken during July. Unfortunately the hunter could not walk mush further than 150yds at a time, which made the hunt even more challenging. After this ram went down, he missed a bruiser of a ram below us at 140yds on our way out.
