This hunt is offered by Casa Sopie Y Sabana/Dani Higurera who I hunted with last Nov. He is very good at what he does and the hunt could not have been better organized.

This is an ibex hunt conducted in areas that have plenty of ibex but not the giant Gold Medal examples of the species and the price reflects that. The pix above are all mature animals and good examples of what you can expect for trophy quality. The hunt is for "representative" trophies and you can shoot the biggest one you can find at a flat rate with no sliding scale.

The hunting is not super tough as you can drive most of the way up the mountains. The terrain might be rough but there is little actual climbing.

All meals and accommodations are provided at small local hotels in the villages near the hunting area. When we hunted there last fall We found it to be a very personal experience and we were well taken care.

You'd need to switch hotel locations to get all four ibex but only once as two types of ibex can be hunt from each location.

If you've priced high medal hunts you know this is a great price for all for Spanish ibex.

I highly recommend at least a couple days in Madrid before or after you hunt. There is lots to see and do. It's not an expensive city and the food was incredible. You can get around easily there as there are cabs everywhere that you can hail easily.
