$15,540 for a 7 day buffalo hunt is that really a good price (all in)
I've never see buffalo TF for a high of $8,000.00 A

Hi Joe. Most areas in the SVC sell hunts at anywhere from $1000 - $1950 per day for 10 days+ a buff trophy fee of 5000 + the extras. So considering that, this not a bad price. Not sure how you got to your figure either as I have it all in for less than 13k. Regardless it's still going to be a lot of money for most people to justify especially taking flights into consideration. Would you rather the trophy fee be less and the daily rate higher? Interested to hear your thoughts. Cheers

Must be some sort of new math. If you drive in and out, the total I get is $12,880. For a buffalo hunt in the Save with Thierry or Peter (I do not know Glen) that is a heck of a deal in my view. They are obviously putting some of the daily rate into the trophy fee . . . I actually like that structure . . . it aligns everyone's interest on success.

I have always said that I prefer to pay a higher trophy fee than the ridiculous accommodation fees.

I think Theirry has structured this hunt very well.

At $3500.00 accommodation fee you are sure your PH will do his best to get the trophy in the salt and earn the $8000.00 trophy fee.

$1750.00 per day and $3000.00 trophy has never made sense to me.

What I see here is a fair offer, with a good outfit that is sure about his area and game.

wow, this looks like a terrific deal. puts the weight on the PH to help get you on the buffalo. So much so, that I would be curious to hear from Thierry his thoughts on "passing mature trophies" that are not what the client wants. My goal is not to muddy the waters, rather to clear expectations for all parties? Regardless, this is a steal if there are buffalo to be had (I would assume there are), this hunt would cost you closer to $20k elsewhere in the Conservancy.

Hi Brad. I am obviously confident in the area having hunted there last yr and and yrs previously and seen the amount of buff on the ground. If you were to come to me and do this hunt only wanting a 45"+ buffalo I'd probably tell you I wasn't prepared to take you on but if you were keen on a hunt where you'd more than likely be on buffalo everyday and have an above average chance of getting a good buffalo wider than the national Zimbabwe average, with solid bosses then I'd say you're on. Ill do my part so long as the client does his and knows is own capabilities. At the end of the day my own reputation is at stake. Cheers for now.

If I wasn't already booked up, I would do this in an instant. Great deal, solid area. Speaking only from experience, Thierry will work his butt off for you to get a solid old bull.

Joe, you would not drive AND fly.

So, if you drive, deduct the $2700 from your figures and you could get this hunt for $12,880.

This is a great deal.

If there had been 2 of these hunts I was thinking of booking this for my son and I.
