Tony Lee/Westwind Guide Service has one spring grizzly opening for 1-10 June '13. This hunt will be conducted in Unit 13 250 miles north of Anchorage. The hunt will be all spot and stalk with far more glassing than hiking. Tony feels each hunter should have 1-3 shooting opportunities with realistic expectation being for a bear squaring 7'-7.5' with larger definitely possible. Coats at this time will be prime making for a beautiful rug or life size mount. There has been a very late spring in Alaska and the dates should be prime.

Hunters will pick up a rental car in Anchorage and drive to Tony's strip for the Cub flight into camp.

In 2015 I am going to hunt a Griz in Alaksa.
Its my life long dream. Need to add, Moose, Whitetail and Bison to the list too. But its going to happen. Maybe a sheep too

How long would I need, will a month do for the hunt?

Tony is hunting bears as they come out of the den and has earlier hunt dates in May already booked and if you wait much later in the year than 1-10 June the fur will start to be rubbed badly. When were you thinking of going?
